Help SafeNet & Erie Police Department “Wrap the Poles Purple” on October 1st
SafeNet starts Domestic Violence Awareness Month on October 1st with our “Wrap the Poles Purple” event.
Partnering with the Erie Police Department, we invite community members to help us create a powerful visual reminder of how prevalent domestic violence is in our community. Together, we’ll wrap every third pole or parking meter with a purple ribbon to symbolize the statistic that roughly 1 in 3 people are affected during their lifetime.
