Mark your calendars for Monday, February 25th, 2019! You won’t want to miss one of the year’s most unique fundraisers, SafeNet’s Annual Scrabble Tournament! Come enjoy a night of good food, good fun and good-natured frustration at Erie’s wonderful Bayfront Convention Center. All proceeds raised from this event event will fund programs for Erie County children that are victims of domestic violence.
Enjoy the tasty creations from local food vendors and stroll the auction tables. After that, it’s time to test your word power against other eager teams!
The Scrabble Tournament will feature tables of ten playing as individual teams. Each table will have one game board and participants will have to work together to place tiles on the board, make words, and generate the highest point score. After three rounds, the team with the highest total points wins the tournament and will have bragging rights for one year as being the best spellers in Erie!
