Outreach Counselor and Training Specialist

Acts as a liaison with the professional community  providing information about the impact of intimate partner violence and  intervention strategies.


  • Training with community partners, especially health care providors
  • May develop curricula
  • Intervention counseling
  • Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • 4 year degree a plus
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel and flex work hours occasionally a plus


Legal Advocate (part time position available)

Assists and supports domestic violence victims in seeking protection from abuse in intimate partner violence situations.


  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Paralegal or relevant experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Bridge House Advocate

Responsible for providing case management services for residents of an established transitional housing program for domestic violence survivors.


  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, make sound decisions and maintain confidentiality
  • 4 year degree in social work or psychology preferred
  • Computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Counselor Advocate (Substitute Staff Position Approximately 8-10 hours weekly)

Responsible for developing a safety plan with clients, providing in person and hotline counseling, and completing required paperwork.


  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to maintain records
  • Transportation


Program Coordinator, Strong Families/Safe Families This program targets young parents to strengthen social supports and  develop positive parenting skills .  This is a new community program which will utilize evidence based curriculum to achieve its goals.   The Program Coordinator will implement  all aspects of the program.


  • Energetic and Upbeat e personality
  • Prefer 4 year degree
  • Knowledge of early childhood development
  • Skills in electronic communication
  • Ability to oversee and organize projects
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


Lead Mover

Mover needed for pickup/delivery of donations and facilities maintenance. Basic plumbing, carpentry, electric and maintence skills required.


  • Basic plumbing, carpentry, electric and maintence skills.
  • Lift 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license
